The Water Environment Association of Ontario (WEAO) New Professionals Committee and Ontario Water Works Association Young Professionals Committee are sponsoring the “Ontario Utility Management Seminar.” Westin is leading a technical program filled with speakers from municipalities with proven results in leveraging technology to optimize utilities. Topics include:
- Performance Management
- Technology Planning
- Operations Data Management
- Network Design and Security
Carl Yates, General Manager, Halifax Regional Water Commission, will be the keynote speaker for the event. He will discuss how Halifax leverages their control system to make better decisions related to advanced water processes and managing water loss.
The event will include information for managers and technology professionals. A series of case studies will present practical examples from utilities including Hamilton, Ottawa, York, Halton, and Toronto.
The event registration fee is $250 for WEAO/OWWA members. Registration is available through WEAO. Lunch and coffee are included.
