William Biehl Adds SCADA Vision, Practical Experience
RANCHO CORDOVA, CALIF. – William (Bill) Biehl, P.E. has joined Westin as a Deputy Practice Director for SCADA Engineering in the East Region.
Mr. Biehl has over 18 years of experience in consulting engineering and project management for water and wastewater utilities. Throughout his career, Biehl has concentrated on energy optimization, automation, control systems and communications, and process monitoring. His experience includes management of large instrumentation and control projects, SCADA master planning, pre-design studies, detailed design, procurement, oversight of system construction, and quality assurance.
Mr. Biehl is a published author of numerous articles and presentations at conferences and in industry publications. Bill recently co-authored “Energy Optimization for Water Systems,” featured in the environmental issue of the AWWA Journal (June 2010).
