Westin is currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer for our Washington, DC. office. In this position you will lead project teams, manage projects and support I&C, DCS and SCADA system design and configuration projects throughout the US. The candidate will be involved with the design of DCS and SCADA systems in the water and wastewater industries and will prepare technical design reports.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manage projects – responsible for project schedule and budget
• Lead project design team
• Support I&C, DCS, and SCADA system design/configuration projects
• Assist in the preparation of bid specifications and drawings, technical design reports
• Design reports including PLC’s, RTU’s and HMI products

Experience Required:

• Minimum 7+ years in I&C consulting, DCS & SCADA design
• Consulting engineering experience preferred (water/wastewater or utility a plus)
• Experience working with PLCs (Modicon, GE, Allen-Bradley and similar) and HMI software (Wonderware, Intellution and similar)
• Designing instrumentation and process control systems
• Knowledge of communications and networking a +
• Experience as a project manager
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Certification as a Registered Professional Engineer required
