Westin Engineering is currently recruiting for the position of Consulting Practice Manager for the Dallas Sphere. This leadership position is responsible for project management and delivery, practice development, local market development and sales, customer satisfaction and practice performance.

This leadership position is responsible for project management and delivery, practice development, local market development and sales, customer satisfaction and practice performance. Projects involve requirements definition, COTS software selections, software implementation, integration, conversion, training, deployment and continuing support.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manage key projects, client relationships and provide billable consulting services
• Help achieve sphere goals for consulting sales, revenue, new account growth, accounts receivable, profitability and service quality.
• Manage delivery teams, a geographic territory and a practice service line
• Manage all necessary activities for successfully developing and managing client relationships for existing and prospective accounts
• Project planning, scope management, project change control, schedule and budget management, risk and issue management, communications management and quality management
• Prepare proposals, develop pricing, review scopes, support and provide QA/QC
• Recruit, mentor and train local staff
• Execute consulting projects within budget, schedule, and meeting customer expectations for quality
• Assist in formulation of annual business plan for Dallas
• Meet sold time goal of 80%

Experience Required:

• Demonstrated track record of leadership in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization, achieving both individual and team-based goals.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT project delivery and management
• Experience with CIS, FIS, LIMS, GIS, CMMS, mobile computing and other applications typically used by water/wastewater utilities
• Ability to write proposals and assist with sales efforts
• Experience in water/wastewater consulting environment is highly desirable
• BS Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent
• Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus
