RANCHO CORDOVA, CALIF. – Westin Engineering, Inc. has named Bill Serjeantson as Vice President of SCADA and Telecommunications Services and Solutions.
Serjeantson will lead the growth of Westin’s services and solutions that optimize, automate, control, and manage the operation of Water and Wastewater Utilities.
“Our clients are looking for technology solutions that improve the efficiency and performance of their real-time operations” said Doug Harp, CEO of Westin “Bill’s background in providing similar solutions and his proven leadership positions Westin to stay at the forefront of utility automation for many years to come.”
Serjeantson has 20 years of experience in applying Information Management and Automation systems in several industries with an emphasis on water and wastewater. Serjeantson has been involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle including planning, needs analysis, design, implementation, testing and commissioning. An experienced project manager and system designer, he has led design teams on projects ranging from a few thousand to several million dollars. Serjeantson has hands-on design and implementation experience with distributed process control, computer-based control, and programmable logic control based systems. Serjeantson’s experience includes integrating corporate information systems and automation systems to track production, improve scheduling and reporting, and optimize performance. “In the last two decades, the market needs for
automation and controls have expanded,” said Serjeantson. “While
SCADA systems will continue to provide day-to-day operation and automation,
