Westin Appoints Steve Arnett to East Region IT Consulting Lead

RANCHO CORDOVA, CALIF. – Westin Engineering, Inc. has named Steve Arnett to lead information technology consulting services for the Eastern United States.

“Steve’s 26 years of experience in managing, developing and implementing information technology solutions for government agencies provides our clients with a resource who brings substantial breadth and depth,” said Richard Goodden, Vice President of Westin.

Mr. Arnett’s professional experience includes program and project management, strategic information systems assessment and planning, and full systems development lifecycle implementations. He has proven experience in IT governance, IT best practices, business process improvement, risk assessment and management, enterprise architecture, information technology auditing, and contingency planning. Arnett also has recent experience with customer information system implementations in public utilities.

Mr. Arnett has a diverse background earned as a consultant and analyst for a variety of organizations including PricewaterhouseCoopers, EDS Corporation, GTE SpaceNet, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), U.S. Department of Education, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Navy, U.S. Court of Appeals, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), City of Lynchburg, City of Orlando, City of Cape Coral, City of Tallahassee, Miami-Dade County, and others.

Mr. Arnett will be based in Westin’s East Region Headquarters located in Silver Spring, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, DC. He will be responsible for managing Westin’s information technology services throughout the Eastern United States including projects around Richmond, VA; Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Austin, TX; and Chicago, IL.
