Westin Appoints East Region Consulting Practices Manager

RANCHO CORDOVA, CALIF. – Westin Engineering, Inc. has named Robert Danowski as East Region Consulting Practice Manager.

In this capacity, Mr. Danowski is responsible for ensuring satisfaction and quality for Westin’s Information Technology clients throughout the Eastern United States.

“Water and wastewater agencies are seeking ways improve efficiency and performance,” said Rich Goodden, Westin’s East Region Vice President. “Robert has a proven record of providing solutions that balance changes in people, processes and technology for a wide variety of water utilities.”

Mr. Danowski applies more than 18 years of information technology experience to enable and support business and operational processes in water, wastewater, and various federal government agencies. His experience includes strategic business and governmental systems, planning, design, custom software development and implementation; business process analysis and improvement; systems integration; and knowledge management systems. He has been involved in the planning, design, development and implementation of information systems utilizing a wide variety of technologies, multiple types of networks, databases, and vendors.

Robert has implemented dozens of mission-critical business systems including customer information, finance (AP/AR, GL), billing, laboratory management, maintenance management, document management, electronic O&M, environmental restoration, construction management, and program management.

  1. Recently Mr. Danowski developed a custom, web-based construction management/program management system for the municipal market. The hosted application had numerous features including document management, workflow, ad-hoc reporting and performance measures.
